Romeo & Juliet - Conflict Resolved
Program Overview
The Story
Our story begins at the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Romeo and Juliet have many things in common and enjoy
each other's company. But there is a problem. Their families
do not get along. In fact, they hate each other. Our narrator
takes us through the story as we see Juliet's cousin,
Tybalt, meet Romeo's friend Mercutio. It doesn't take
long before they are in a heated argument over a bicycle.
Romeo and Juliet can't seem to get their families to be
nice to each other and things don't look good for their
friendship. That is until Juliet has an idea. She convinces
the narrator that the story doesn't have to continue the
way it started. If the people in the story just made some
different decisions, there wouldn't have to be any fighting.
Then Romeo and Juliet set out to show their families that
there is more than one way to solve a problem.
