The next morning we took them out for a test drive, to see how they function out in the real world (doors, my car, etc) I had a bit of trouble getting the nose to stay on. With the light bulb inside it didn’t fit properly. How did WC Fields do it? |

While we were outside, Heidi came by and wanted to play. |

We also had a problem with the Scrabble board fitting into the back of my PT Cruiser. It only fit at a diagonal, which meant it had to rest on the harness, which was already precariously attached. The bouncing on the road and the weight of the scrabble board caused a slight crack in the back of it. So I threw a layer of Flex-glue to fill the crack and give the board some flexibility. It seemed to do the trick. Have I mentioned how much I love this stuff? |

But they worked beautifully. I’m psyched. And with Halloween on a weekday this year, that meant clubs would be having their Halloween costume contests on Friday, Saturday AND Halloween Day (Tuesday). Big chance to score something. I don’t know how they’re going to do, but I’m hoping for at least an honorable mention somewhere. Check back after the holidays and I’ll post the results.
