NTC Research Foundation (NRF) is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization dedicated to developing, measuring and disseminating (publishing) better ways to educate young people about important life skills utilizing educational theatre techniques that integrate with traditional multi-platform communication tools (internet, print, video, classroom). NRF projects are local, regional and national research based investigations into the process, art and evaluation of innovative live events that teach youth important and timely curricular subjects in schools.
NRF’s research projects are funded by corporate, non-profit and government agencies seeking to understand the power of live theatre events in schools as an educational catalyst for behavior change and awareness regarding subjects such as: renewable energy, health, character, safety, and financial education. Research studies are designed and executed by leading academic, medical, and industry practitioners with a long history of publishing studies in national and international journals.
The National Theatre for Children (NTC) creates the in-school educational programs under investigation by (NRF). Since 1978, NTC has been creating original programs that educate students by presenting live, educational theatre, printed curriculum and multi-platform media to schools on a nationwide basis. |
