| Two actors play a wide variety of colorful characters in four different educational sketches. The scenes combine high energy sketch comedy with improvisation to teach students about financial literacy through a fun experience. At the beginning of each scene an actor will interact with the audience and get some information that will be used during the sketch, such as their favorite band or something they have always dreamed of having. This information will be interjected into the scene and may even be the point of the sketch or the basis of a character! The Scenes: • After doing some crazy chores, a resturant worker learns a valuable lesson about what “take home pay” is. • Two game show contestants (one a student volunteer) have to complete different zany tasks to learn about risk and reward. • A souvenir shop owner tries to convince his customer to buy an object (suggested by the audience) using advertising and persuasion. • Finally, using an imaginary time machine, the actors show a student volunteer what would have happened to them had they made different choices with their money |
