| When you forget that the work you're doing is in fact "work," then that speaks volumes about the company you're working for. With NTC, I've never once felt like a disposable actor that is out of sight/out of mind while I was out on the road. After two tours with NTC, I feel more confident and capable as a performer than I've ever felt since entering the job market. Best of all, it's refreshing and comforting to know that NTC genuinely cares about and remembers the actors representing them all over the country. I sincerely cannot wait to come back! |

| This is the most fun I've ever had at a job - doing the same show over and over again gave me a chance to settle in to a script and find ways to improvise within limits. I feel like I stretched acting muscles I didn't know I had!! |

| Working for the National Theatre for Children is an amazing experience, especially when you get to tour to areas where students may never have seen live theatre before. It is so wonderful to think that you can be the representation of live theatre to these children and expose them to something new and different, all while teaching them important lessons and entertaining them. |

| Even though you are on the road for several weeks doing the same show several times a day every school day, it never gets boring. With each audience you have, you get a different show. Their reactions helps you tell the show and take them on a journey.

| NTC is a professional, conscientious company dedicated to providing a quality educational experience for children. As an NTC actor you not only have an opportunity to contribute to this goal but to travel the country, make new friends and professional connections and inspire a whole new generation to appreciate live theater. Yay future ticket buyers! |

| Working for the National Theatre for Children is an experience that every person who calls him or herself an actor should strive to experience at some point in his or her career. You not only learn to really polish your acting chops by doing the same show over 100 times and keeping it just as energetic and fresh each time, but you also meet some excellent colleagues who are bound to become lifelong friends, see parts of the country that you may have have had the opportunity to see, and have the chance to influence children for the rest of their lives. Performing for children is one of the most rewarding experiences for an actor (I think), because not only are they the most honest critics you will probably ever encounter, but also, they are at an age where their minds are so eager to learn and grow, that the work you do for them has the potential to have a lasting impression on them, and quite possibly inspire them to do the same thing one day. |

| Some of these schools don't get many opportunities to have programs like this, and it's a great feeling as an actor to be a part of that experience. Seeing the kids have fun makes you have *more* fun. |

| The National Theatre for Children is a great company to work for! All the staff and employees were professional and friendly and I felt like I had nothing to worry about because they had it all under control, even from thousands of miles away! They work one on one with you to create a show that's going to be entertaining and as well as educational; a show you can feel good about. I would do it again in a heartbeat!

| NTC gives the opportunity for real professional actors to go into schools and give kids sometimes their first taste of live theatre. There couldn't be a better feeling than knowing that on a day to day basis I get to enrich the lives of these students and make a living doing so.
